Here's What's Covered

Chapter 1: Setting Up Product Types and Displays. In this chapter, I show you how to set up products in your commerce store and then how you can display them. Drupal Commerce is a flexible solution which means it separates the product from the display so you can arrange your site however you like.

Chapter 2: Setting Up Product Catalogs. After we have our products and displays set up, I show you how we can create a catalog for easy product browsing. This allows you to customize your site and how products are grouped.

Chapter 3: Product Options. With a product catalog setup, I show you how you can customize your products and add options like sizes and colors.

Chapter 4: Setting Up Paypal. In this chapter, I introduce you to accepting payments with Drupal Commerce. We walk through accepting Standard PayPal payments as well as Pro Payments which don't require customers to leave your site.

Chapter 5: Coupons. Once we are done setting up payments, we move on to coupons where I show you how we can set them up and begin incentivizing customers to buy. We look at fixed price coupons as well as flexible percentage discounts. To do so, we use the Commerce Coupon module.

Chapter 6: Selling Digital Goods. In this chapter, I show you how you can sell access to digital files for download as well as allowing customers to purchase permissions to your site via sellable roles. To do so, we use the Commerce License module.

Chapter 7: Commerce Tax. Next up, we tackle collecting Taxes with Drupal Commerce. In doing so, I show you how you can apply VAT and Sales Tax. Using Rules and existing Commerce options, I also demonstrate how we can change the payment processing order.

Chapter 8: Multicurrency. In this chapter, I walk you though how we can set up multiple currencies on our site. We first look at the non-preferred method of applying a standard conversation rate. From there, we look at a contributed module which allows us to dynamically pull exchange rates and use them on our site.

Chapter 9: Commerce Registrations. In this chapter, I walk you through how Drupal and Commerce can be combined with other modules to create a registration website to be used for conferences and events. In it, I walk you through how an event can be setup, tickets can be sold and how additional information can be collected during registration like food preferences.

Chapter 10: Commerce Kickstart. To conclude the series, we take a look at the Commerce Kickstart installation profile which allows you to quickly get a site off the ground with preconfigured settings.

Still not convinced? Maybe You Have a Question:

Question: What's the difference between this and the tutorials on Youtube?
Answer: I've gone ahead and re-recorded the introductions and conclusions to help crystallize your learning. You'll also get the iPhone version included to watching on the go.

Question: Is it really 100% satisfaction guaranteed?
Yup, no questions asked. However, if you want to tell me how to improve future videos when you request your money back, I'd really appreciate that.

Question: Does this mean you are going to stop doing free tutorials?
Nope. I started recording tutorials to help give back to the Drupal community and it is something I still love doing. I plan to keep recording tutorials but it is becoming harder and harder to find the time. Selling a series here and there will help me refrain from having to take on additional development products so I can to continue to produce these videos.

Question: $19.99 is too low, can I pay more?
I really appreciate the sentiment but for now, let's keep it at $19.99. If you really want to help out, you could spread the word about my tutorials though. If you really want to get nuts, maybe a thumbs up on YouTube or a positive comment as well?
